After a defensive mix-up in Suns's zone, 张杰宽 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Mendonça came out of the goal and 张杰宽 tried to chip the ball over his head. Clemente Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malmo FF. The crowd rose to their feet as Suns's Leonel Nogueira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 郭昂银. That made the score 2-1 after 24 minutes of play. The Malmo FF fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Malmo FF's 蒋翀岚 looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 32nd minute, 蒋翀岚 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Malmo FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 张杰宽 in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clemente Mendonça saved Suns from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Durvalino Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Malmo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Nogueira came free, but 郭昂银 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 顾宽晨 in the 44th minute of play forced Suns's goalkeeper Clemente Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute 程博钢 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Suns players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Malmo FF were winning 2-3.

The wind increased when Leonel Nogueira made the kick off in the second half. Clemente Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 张杰宽 in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Malmo FF booed when Suns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Noel da Fonseca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Suns's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malmo FF the free kick. 蒋翀岚 took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Clemente Mendonça. Clemente Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Clemente Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 张杰宽 in the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Malmo FF's 张杰宽 got a free kick in the 90th minute. Durvalino Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Malmo FF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
