An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Hermes in the 11th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Clóvis Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ingvar Kollberg fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leon Sport Club's protests and gave Ingvar Kollberg a yellow card for diving instead. Ingvar Kollberg kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Leon Sport Club's zone, Marcelinho Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clóvis Reis came out of the goal and Marcelinho Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ingvar Kollberg was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 15 minutes had been played. Ingvar Kollberg kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. COMCHOPP's Marcelinho Hermes got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xove Pintor in the 25th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Clóvis Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelinho Hermes in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clóvis Reis saved Leon Sport Club from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Talavera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leon Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COMCHOPP the free kick. In the 38th match minute, Leon Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Talavera to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Hermes in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, COMCHOPP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Steffens to maneuver through the defense. Clóvis Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelinho Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After the first half COMCHOPP were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdo Prado to strike the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Goren kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Jon Loarte. In the 57th minute Leon Sport Club were awarded a corner. Marcel Ramos went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Leon Sport Club's corner Marcel Ramos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alto Moco quite easily take care of the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Marcel Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leon Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COMCHOPP the free kick. In the 60th minute, Marcel Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelinho Hermes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Clóvis Reis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 69 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Hermes came free, but Clóvis Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Marcelinho Hermes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis. Clóvis Reis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clóvis Reis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Hermes in the 77th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. COMCHOPP had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
