Astor Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Batista in the 9th minute of play. Biagio Furino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronalds McDonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ronalds McDonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronalds McDonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Biagio Furino having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Ronalds McDonald put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Biagio Furino. Astor Hug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Felipillo in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Paraná Clube Brasil's Pedro Carvalho got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to Paraná Clube Brasil getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alberto Rossi hit a great ball. Astor Hug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Giovani Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Hug saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronalds McDonald got free with Biagio Furino in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronalds McDonald was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Paraná Clube Brasil's Giovani Batista dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Ronalds McDonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Biagio Furino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronalds McDonald ran back to his position shaking his head. 57 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Ronalds McDonald came free, but Biagio Furino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Biagio Furino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronalds McDonald went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After 62 minutes, Alberto Rossi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paraná Clube Brasil and the Desportivo Coala players grew even worse after the yellow card. 62 minutes into the game, one of Paraná Clube Brasil:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 68 played minutes Paraná Clube Brasil got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Carvalho. Desportivo Coala's Ramachandramurthy Van Dijk was substituted for Rodrigo Alcântara. Arlindo Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Hug having to interfere. Biagio Furino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronalds McDonald in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute Ronalds McDonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Biagio Furino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Astor Hug made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Arlindo Silveira sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronalds McDonald in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Biagio Furino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Ronalds McDonald put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Biagio Furino. Serginho Munhoz's late challenge caught a Desportivo Coala's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Serginho Munhoz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, Paraná Clube Brasil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serginho Munhoz to maneuver through the defense. Ramachandramurthy Van Dijk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Desportivo Coala had played much better football throughout.
