Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costin Verzea in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clóvis Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 24th minute of the match Diamond Crown FC got a corner. Leon Sport Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gernando Cardozo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After having played for 31 minutes, Costin Verzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diamond Crown FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costin Verzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute, Vito Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Leon Sport Club booed when Diamond Crown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guto Paraense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Aguayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Loarte in the 37th minute of play. Feliberto Tarin charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feliberto Tarin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Diamond Crown FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Diamond Crown FC's Bernardo Aguayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Costa in the 84th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Diamond Crown FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Costa came free, but Bernardo Aguayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafinha Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. A collision led to Diamond Crown FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gernando Cardozo hit a great ball. Leon Sport Club were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Diamond Crown FC to leave the ground with a draw.
