Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronalds McDonald in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amadeu Lamego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Ronalds McDonald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amadeu Lamego was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. SAO JOANENSE FC's Amadeu Lamego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronalds McDonald in the 11th minute of play. Amadeu Lamego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronalds McDonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronalds McDonald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Amadeu Lamego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisinho Netto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Astor Hug made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisinho Netto got free with Astor Hug in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ronalds McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronalds McDonald in the 20th minute of play forced SAO JOANENSE FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Lamego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ronalds McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ronalds McDonald managed to get in a good position for a shot. Desportivo Coala's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronalds McDonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeu Lamego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alessandro Meirelles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Astor Hug made a huge save. Ronalds McDonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Ronalds McDonald managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Desportivo Coala's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronalds McDonald was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ronalds McDonald came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Desportivo Coala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronalds McDonald couldn't finish the play.

Astor Hug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronalds McDonald got free with Amadeu Lamego in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronalds McDonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Amadeu Lamego made a huge save. 63 minutes into the game, Júnior Maciel threw the ball into play from the sideline. Desportivo Coala's Rodrigo Alcântara quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Amadeu Lamego came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Desportivo Coala's Ronalds McDonald. But to his dismay, Ronalds McDonald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Astor Hug showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessandro Meirelles, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. A hard shot 70 in the game by Ronalds McDonald from a close distance when the talented Amadeu Lamego managed to make a qualified save. SAO JOANENSE FC's players were relieved. In the 74th minute, Franklin Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Desportivo Coala's Ramachandramurthy Van Dijk was substituted for Rodrigo Alcântara. Ronalds McDonald's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amadeu Lamego firmly grabbed it by the left post. Jairo Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. In the 89th match minute, SAO JOANENSE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júnior Maciel to maneuver through the defense. Desportivo Coala's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ronalds McDonald in the 94th minute. After a rather tough play, SAO JOANENSE FC's Alessandro Meirelles got a free kick in the 96th minute. Chants of Desportivo Coala echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as SAO JOANENSE FC had held the ball for most of the match.
