Clóvis Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Marchlewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute Jon Loarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoni Beninda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jon Loarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maciej Marchlewicz in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clóvis Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 29 minutes into the game, Dráuzio Severo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Vila Zumbi's Gildo Seco quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Leon Sport Club from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jon Loarte in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antoni Beninda saved Vila Zumbi from getting behind. Leon Sport Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Maciej Marchlewicz scored to the left of an out of position Clóvis Reis, making the score, 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Kang Fan Xiang got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 40 minutes into the match, Vila Zumbi's Maciej Marchlewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clóvis Reis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Clóvis Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kang Fan Xiang in the 42nd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jon Loarte was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Maciej Marchlewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila Zumbi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 62 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Dráuzio Severo. The supporters of Vila Zumbi booed when Leon Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vila Zumbi's Matías Souza got a free kick in the 66th minute. A nice corner shot did that Dráuzio Severo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Antoni Beninda quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 74 minutes, Douglas Ferreira made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Vila Zumbi's Antoni Beninda tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Marchlewicz in the 79th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Clóvis Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clóvis Reis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maciej Marchlewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Sport Club's Clóvis Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maciej Marchlewicz in the 86th minute of play. Maciej Marchlewicz might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clóvis Reis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maciej Marchlewicz ran back to his position shaking his head. Clóvis Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maciej Marchlewicz in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute of the match, João Augusto Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Antoni Beninda saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Glauco Pereira in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clóvis Reis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Vander during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Vander. Many of Leon Sport Club's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Leon Sport Club may have spent more time on the ball, but Vila Zumbi were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
