Giovani Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 冯雄翀 having to interfere. With a little luck, Paraná Clube Brasil's Biagio Furino got control of the ball when Augusto Freire tried to sneak it across the goal line.
