Feyyaz Baştuğ started the match with the kick off. Bernard Fedosz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Sampaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Bernard Fedosz came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético-PR's Pedrinho Hoffmann. But to his dismay, Pedrinho Hoffmann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Oswaldo Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo da Fonseca in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Hoffmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Bernard Fedosz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oswaldo Paraíba was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Feyyaz Baştuğ capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Feyyaz Baştuğ really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diogo Rezende during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Beto Martini MZ 20 years booed when Atlético-PR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diogo Rezende didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oswaldo Paraíba was a little too slow when Chuttur Lønge got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-2. In the 21st minute, Pedrinho Hoffmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atlético-PR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Bernard Fedosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Perivaldo Sampaio in the 32nd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Jiang Qian Xu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético-PR the free kick. Bernard Fedosz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Barral in the 36th minute of play. Bernard Fedosz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedrinho Hoffmann went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. When Atlético-PR's Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráuzio Barral got free with Bernard Fedosz in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Atlético-PR's Pedrinho Hoffmann in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 61st minute, Jiang Qian Xu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atlético-PR's Yang Ke Xun was substituted for Márcio Cruz. Atlético-PR made a substitution. Hong Jian Fan replaced Pedrinho Hoffmann. Atlético-PR made a substitution. Cacá Breckenfeld replaced Eugênio Azevedo. When Peng Chao Feng came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Atlético-PR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peng Chao Feng couldn't finish the play. An unexpected shot in the 74th minute by Hong Jian Fan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bernard Fedosz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hong Jian Fan's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. When Atlético-PR's Hong Jian Fan in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Perivaldo Sampaio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bernard Fedosz. That made the score 2-8 in the 84 minute of play. Yang Ke Xun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yang Ke Xun hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The Atlético-PR fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Atlético-PR's Hong Jian Fan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Atlético-PR supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atlético-PR would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
