Sergio Goycochea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukas Apelkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Olle Samuelsson's late challenge caught a El Torero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 41st minute Carlos Alberto Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Olsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match, Carlos Alberto Marquez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robin Olsen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 46 minutes into the match, Haymakers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Kinsen came free, but Robin Olsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robin Olsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduardo Barrionuevo in the 47th minute.

Ramiro Kinsen hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Carlos Alberto Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Olsen having to interfere. El Torero's Carlos Alberto Marquez got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The El Torero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When the referee ended the match the El Torero players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
