An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Tyson in the 5th minute of play forced El Torero's goalkeeper Sergio Goycochea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When El Torero's Carlos Alberto Marquez in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sergio Goycochea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 彭战朗 in the 26th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Carlos Egoitz in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Alastuey FC's Antonio Chayo. Sergio Goycochea was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 彭战朗 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. After 39 minutes El Torero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 姚骋冰 who took care of the corner kick. Alastuey FC's 彭战朗 was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sergio Goycochea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 44 played minutes El Torero got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Egoitz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute, 彭战朗 made a precise shot to the right of Sergio Goycochea. El Torero's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After 59 played minutes Alastuey FC got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Efraim. Eduardo Barrionuevo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Breno Branco made a huge save. 彭战朗 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 73 minutes into the game, 彭战朗 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Sergio Goycochea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute 彭战朗 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Goycochea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sergio Goycochea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jan Vennegoor Of Hesselink ran back to his position shaking his head. 92 minutes in the game Eduardo Barrionuevo did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Carlos Alberto Marquez. When Ambrosio Urtsua fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Torero's protests and gave Ambrosio Urtsua a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes El Torero got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Urtsua. For all the effort they put into the match, the El Torero players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Alastuey FC.
