Lui Vandré recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 played minutes Pura Arte F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Fonseca. After 33rd play minutes Fábio Coelho shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Rodrigo Vidal and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of Pura Arte F.C booed when E.C. Água Santa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fábio Coelho was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Casemiro in the 65th minute of play forced Pura Arte F.C's goalkeeper Rodrigo Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
