Alfredinho Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquin Xacintu in the 13th minute of the match. With a little luck, Grentino FC's Falcão Sampaio got control of the ball when Fredrik Masculier tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tana Rede in the 46th minute of play forced Grentino FC's goalkeeper Falcão Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Grentino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeu de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tana Rede made the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Falcão Sampaio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Erasmo Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grentino FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granadero10 the free kick. Válter Baiano hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. The corner was taken by Tana Rede in the 84th minute. Falcão Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tana Rede in the 86th minute of the match. Norberto Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Simão in the 88th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Alfredinho Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Severino Messias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Falcão Sampaio. Grentino FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severino Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Grentino FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Granadero10.
