Pura Arte F.C's attentive Ferris Stock managed to snatch the ball when Vicente Valladares made a throw-in in the 6th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenneth Mager got free with Reko Nybacka in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute, Carlos Alberto Soares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Catugi FC's Reko Nybacka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenneth Mager in the 15th minute of play. Catugi FC's Reko Nybacka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Catugi FC from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Pura Arte F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Alberto Soares came free, but Rodrigo Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Catugi FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Walmir Pombal hit a great ball. Reko Nybacka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladimir Fonseca in the 24th minute. Vladimir Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Reko Nybacka made a huge save. Rodrigo Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Soares in the 36th minute of the match. Reko Nybacka made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Vladimir Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Vladimir Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reko Nybacka. Vladimir Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 43 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Edson Couto. Reko Nybacka was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kenneth Mager.

The wind increased when Carlos Alberto Soares made the kick off in the second half. Catugi FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Vicente Valladares in the 52nd minute. The corner led Catugi FC's Vicente Valladares to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodrigo Vidal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the last second Rodrigo Vidal throw himself and got hold of the ball when Carlos Alberto Soares in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 52 minutes, Carlos Alberto Soares made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pura Arte F.C's Rodrigo Vidal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vladimir Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reko Nybacka having to make a save. Vicente Valladares's late challenge caught a Pura Arte F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vicente Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Ernesto de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 63 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Mager came free, but Reko Nybacka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Fonseca in the 65th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Reko Nybacka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reko Nybacka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenneth Mager in the 66th minute of the match. Cosme Tristan kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Rodrigo Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walmir Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth Mager in the 70th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Reko Nybacka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Soares in the 73rd minute of play forced Pura Arte F.C's goalkeeper Rodrigo Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pura Arte F.C's zone, Fabiano Maranhense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Vidal came out of the goal and Fabiano Maranhense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the match, Catugi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kenneth Mager came free, but Reko Nybacka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reko Nybacka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Pura Arte F.C were awarded a corner. Kenneth Mager went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Frédson Paulista heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Benjamim Alvarenga hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Pura Arte F.C's Kenneth Mager sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reko Nybacka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Catugi FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kenneth Mager was slow to take the kick. During this time Pura Arte F.C's players had a chance to rest. Carlos Alberto Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Rodrigo Vidal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the game, Pura Arte F.C's Kenneth Mager nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reko Nybacka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The Catugi FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pura Arte F.C from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
