Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bray McJon made the kick off which started today's match. João Francisco Tinoco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bray McJon's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. João Francisco Tinoco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olavo Matorin in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Montevideo's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Tronconi came free, but Ronaldo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montevideo's Ronaldo Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaká Brasil in the 17th minute of play. When Montevideo's Bray McJon in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grêmio RK75's goalie prevented a goal. João Francisco Tinoco was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Luisito Antequera capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luisito Antequera really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 34th minute, Grêmio RK75's Vitinho Almeida seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vitinho Almeida the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Grêmio RK75 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vitinho Almeida had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Grêmio RK75! Harold Tronconi hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilton Lira was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Kaká Brasil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montevideo's goalkeeper Ronaldo Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wilson Fernandez made in the 57th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Christian Passos however managed to control. Kaká Brasil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldo Medeiros having to make a save. Kaká Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ronaldo Medeiros made a huge save. In the 68th minute of the match Grêmio RK75 got a corner. Montevideo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nilton Lira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Cauã Luz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Montevideo's Ronaldo Medeiros did a great save. João Francisco Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Antequera, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 85 minutes in the game Wilson Fernandez did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Christian Passos. In the 88th minute, Luisito Antequera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Montevideo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Montevideo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
