The referee ignored TAQUARI FC's protests and gave Wilton Vale a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, TAQUARI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Vale to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilton Vale in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Domingo Bulnes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th minute Ernani Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Bulnes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute, Adriano van Beek left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ✪ XV de Umarizal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
