A nice corner shot did that Kenneth Mager got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Alfredinho Cavalcante quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Vladimir Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alfredinho Cavalcante. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vladimir Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 42nd minute of the match, Vladimir Fonseca got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfredinho Cavalcante was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
