Vintilă Ungur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reko Nybacka having to interfere. Fabiano Maranhense scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiaguinho Correia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Fabiano Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Róbson Couto who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Reko Nybacka when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Reko Nybacka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Róbson Couto in the 16th minute of play. Tiaguinho Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabiano Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Trindade Atlético Club's Dragoş Vâtcu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Reko Nybacka. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. 26 minutes into the match, Dragoş Vâtcu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Reko Nybacka, 2-1. Víktor Magalhães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Catugi FC's Reko Nybacka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Catugi FC from getting a goal against them. Víktor Magalhães could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Reko Nybacka made a huge save. Reko Nybacka stood somewhat misplaced when Róbson Couto came free in front of goal and shot 3-1 to the left of him in the 33 minute. Catugi FC's Reko Nybacka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Catugi FC from getting a goal against them. The goalkeeper, Reko Nybacka, was totally fooled by Trindade Atlético Club's Róbson Couto, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Dragoş Vâtcu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trindade Atlético Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Dragoş Vâtcu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reko Nybacka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

Reko Nybacka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dragoş Vâtcu in the 53rd minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Trindade Atlético Club's Róbson Couto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reko Nybacka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Reko Nybacka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Víktor Magalhães in the 68th minute of play. Róbson Couto took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reko Nybacka. Reko Nybacka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Trindade Atlético Club's Maurinho Dias was substituted for Róbson Couto. Reko Nybacka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dragoş Vâtcu in the 77th minute of the match. If Miguel Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trindade Atlético Club's Dagoberto Dracena was substituted for Víktor Magalhães. Dragoş Vâtcu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Reko Nybacka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Catugi FC's Miguel Pimenta got a free kick in the 85th minute. Fabiano Maranhense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Trindade Atlético Club's Vintilă Ungur got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Dragoş Vâtcu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trindade Atlético Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Trindade Atlético Club had played much better football throughout.
