A collision led to ✪ XV de Umarizal getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Bai Yan Yong hit a great ball. Bray McJon hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Adriano van Beek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ronaldo Medeiros was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Bogdan Blănaru hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Anderson Passos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adriano van Beek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldo Medeiros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Allan Winström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 17 minutes, Bai Yan Yong mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ✪ XV de Umarizal and the Montevideo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, ✪ XV de Umarizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bai Yan Yong to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the match Wilson Fernandez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Domingo Bulnes skillfully saved the ball. Domingo Bulnes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Antequera in the 20th minute of the match. Bray McJon might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Domingo Bulnes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bray McJon ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingo Bulnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bray McJon in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ✪ XV de Umarizal! Luisito Antequera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in ✪ XV de Umarizal's zone, Luisito Antequera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Bulnes came out of the goal and Luisito Antequera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Antequera in the 37th minute of play forced ✪ XV de Umarizal's goalkeeper Domingo Bulnes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Bulnes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bray McJon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Bulnes having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriano van Beek made a kick off. Laerte Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Bulnes having to interfere. Bray McJon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Domingo Bulnes made a huge save. With a little luck, ✪ XV de Umarizal's Domingo Bulnes got control of the ball when Bray McJon tried to sneak it across the goal line. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Domingo Bulnes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save ✪ XV de Umarizal from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Montevideo's Laerte Lucas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domingo Bulnes. That made the score 0-2 after 64 minutes of play. ✪ XV de Umarizal's Damian Ostrowski was substituted for Allan Winström. Luisito Antequera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Domingo Bulnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. ✪ XV de Umarizal made a substitution. Lionel 梅西 replaced Adriano van Beek. 74 minutes into the match, ✪ XV de Umarizal's goal looked a bit too open when Olavo Matorin came free, but Domingo Bulnes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Montevideo were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after ✪ XV de Umarizal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wilson Fernandez took the corner. Domingo Bulnes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernandão Recife in the 78th minute of play. Luisito Antequera came free with the goalkeeper in the 83rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Domingo Bulnes could save by the left post. Bai Yan Yong kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Valdomiro Ribeiro scored 1-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldo Medeiros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Montevideo's Ronaldo Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lionel 梅西 in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Christian Passos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montevideo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ✪ XV de Umarizal the free kick. The supporters of ✪ XV de Umarizal booed when Montevideo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Passos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lionel 梅西 succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. Montevideo were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
