Wilton Vale started the match with the kick off. Wilton Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Pura Arte F.C's Rodrigo Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilton Vale in the 4th minute of play. In the 7th match minute, Pura Arte F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the game, TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodrigo Vidal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 16 played minutes TAQUARI FC got a freekick which was hit by Igor Tinoco. The audience was convinced that Wilton Vale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Vidal was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Rodolfo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boruc Ramzinski in the 28th minute of play. If Wilton Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rodrigo Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Vale in the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Pura Arte F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Vale came free, but Rodrigo Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boruc Ramzinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Rodolfo Salgado managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Pura Arte F.C's Vladimir Fonseca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 40th minute Wilton Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Pura Arte F.C defense, Wilton Vale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodrigo Vidal. The Pura Arte F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodrigo Vidal should have stopped the shot. Pura Arte F.C's attentive Zé Castro managed to snatch the ball when Wilton Vale made a throw-in in the 45th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimir Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Joakim Felin fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TAQUARI FC's protests and gave Joakim Felin a yellow card for diving instead. Pura Arte F.C made a substitution. Kaká Botelho replaced Kenneth Mager. A collision led to TAQUARI FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Joakim Felin hit a great ball. In the 55th minute, Wilton Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Rodrigo Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of Pura Arte F.C booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilton Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Vidal made a huge save. Wilton Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. TAQUARI FC's Giannis Karagiotis was substituted for Valer Covaliu. 74 minutes into the match, Pura Arte F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Vale came free, but Rodrigo Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Fonseca in the 76th minute of the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Vladimir Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pura Arte F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimir Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilton Vale in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Vidal saved Pura Arte F.C from getting behind. Rodrigo Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 93 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Fonseca came free, but Rodolfo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. TAQUARI FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
