Fernandez Gøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elliott Bergsten in the 6th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elliott Bergsten in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernandez Gøl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute of the match A.A. Francana got a corner. E.C. Água Santa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Francisco Secco ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Charlie Boström almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but E.C. Água Santa's Fernandez Gøl did a great save. Fábio Coelho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 13th minute. E.C. Água Santa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Renan Melo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Caetano Pique hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, E.C. Água Santa's Renan Melo threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Casemiro, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. E.C. Água Santa's Fábio Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fernandez Gøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Koenig in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, E.C. Água Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Koenig came free, but Fernandez Gøl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernandez Gøl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Bergsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandez Gøl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Bergsten in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 36th minute Charlie Boström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandez Gøl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. E.C. Água Santa's Fernandez Gøl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Boström in the 38th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, E.C. Água Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Boström came free, but Fernandez Gøl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fábio Coelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Renan Melo made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fábio Coelho to make the kick off. E.C. Água Santa's Fernandez Gøl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elliott Bergsten in the 50th minute of play. Fernandez Gøl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Koenig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the game, E.C. Água Santa's Fábio Coelho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Renan Melo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 58 minutes into the game, Fábio Coelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Renan Melo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernandez Gøl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Bergsten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandez Gøl came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by A.A. Francana's Elliott Bergsten. But to his dismay, Elliott Bergsten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Fernandez Gøl came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by A.A. Francana's Roman Koenig. But to his dismay, Roman Koenig quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Gualterio Gilabert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Renan Melo having to make a save. Renan Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernandez Gøl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Koenig in the 82nd minute. Gualterio Gilabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th match minute, A.A. Francana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Bettencourt to maneuver through the defense. If Gualterio Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Renan Melo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Gilabert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to E.C. Água Santa getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Jonas Fernandes hit a great ball. Fernandez Gøl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Secco in the 94th minute. If Gualterio Gilabert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Renan Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Gilabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. A.A. Francana's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
