TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Dracena in the 4th minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trindade Atlético Club's goalkeeper Tiaguinho Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiaguinho Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Vale in the 13th minute of the match. Dagoberto Dracena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Dracena notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado. Rodolfo Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The throw-in from Teodoro Vaz in the 37th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by TAQUARI FC's Joakim Felin. In the 44th minute, TAQUARI FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Fulgencio Rius fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, Trindade Atlético Club's Fulgencio Rius got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilton Vale was the one to do the kick off. If Wilton Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilton Vale kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. TAQUARI FC made a substitution. Giannis Karagiotis replaced Valer Covaliu. Trindade Atlético Club made a substitution. Róbson Couto replaced Dagoberto Dracena. Wilton Vale hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's Erasmo Gaspar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiaguinho Correia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Couto came free, but Rodolfo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, Trindade Atlético Club's Róbson Couto made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodolfo Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd match minute, Trindade Atlético Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Korhan Kutalmış to maneuver through the defense. Bernard Letourneau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. TAQUARI FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
