Carlos Casemiro went to the cornerflag to take it. 11 minutes into the match, Wilton Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernandez Gøl. E.C. Água Santa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilton Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Fernandez Gøl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Vale in the 16th minute of the match. Carlos Casemiro hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernandez Gøl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 49 minutes TAQUARI FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Casemiro who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to E.C. Água Santa's Valdomiro Rosado getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal.

Carlos Casemiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rodolfo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Wilton Vale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Fernandez Gøl when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilton Vale in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandez Gøl saved E.C. Água Santa from getting behind. Carlos Casemiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Salgado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Casemiro ran back to his position shaking his head. E.C. Água Santa's Gualterio Gilabert was substituted for Fábio Coelho. Wilton Vale might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernandez Gøl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Água Santa's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Vale came free, but Fernandez Gøl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Água Santa's goalkeeper Fernandez Gøl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilton Vale. With a little luck, E.C. Água Santa's Fernandez Gøl got control of the ball when Wilton Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, E.C. Água Santa's Carlos Casemiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Wilton Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wilton Vale scored 0-4 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernandez Gøl, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of E.C. Água Santa booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in E.C. Água Santa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 96th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Fernandez Gøl, was totally fooled by TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale, who 97 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Gualterio Gilabert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Salgado having to make a save. Rodolfo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Gilabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 100th minute.
