Yaya Sow took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Vidal. Rodrigo Vidal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute Yaya Sow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dirk Snabl, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Vito Travassos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodrigo Vidal. Pura Arte F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vito Travassos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, Dirk Snabl cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Falcão Mendonça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Tiago Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dirk Snabl in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Pura Arte F.C got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Mendonça. The throw-in from Eugênio Gonçalves in the 30th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Pura Arte F.C's Boruc Ramzinski. Tiago Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Castro went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The corner led São Paulo F.C.'s Dirk Snabl to a score. 1-4 in the 38th minute. A collision led to Pura Arte F.C getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Zé Castro hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Pura Arte F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Travassos came free, but Rodrigo Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dirk Snabl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Vidal having to interfere.

Frédson Paulista hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Ronaldo Crispín took a quick shot and it went in 1-6 without a chance for Rodrigo Vidal to make any attempt to save it. Geovani Coutinho struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Rodrigo Vidal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Paulo F.C.. Pura Arte F.C's Rodrigo Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Melo in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 89 minutes, Ronaldo Crispín managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. São Paulo F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Crispín was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wanderson Melo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After 94 played minutes Pura Arte F.C got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Fonseca. A collision led to São Paulo F.C. getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Wanderson Melo hit a great ball. São Paulo F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
