Grêmio RK75's João Francisco Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Buba Seco in the 6th minute of play. Grêmio RK75's Harold Tronconi got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute of the match Grêmio RK75 got a corner. São Paulo F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. São Paulo F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Buba Seco in the 23rd minute. A nice corner shot did that Buba Seco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Francisco Tinoco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Grêmio RK75's Ramiro Bautista quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Murillo Cordeiro, made in the 30th minute of the game. Murillo Cordeiro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Tronconi in the 41st minute of play. Murillo Cordeiro's late challenge caught a Grêmio RK75's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee showed Harold Tronconi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
