Vladimir Fonseca's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rodriguinho Sousa firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience was convinced that Deilmison van Basten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rodrigo Vidal was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Pura Arte F.C's Rodrigo Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pura Arte F.C's goalkeeper Rodrigo Vidal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Deilmison van Basten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 42nd match minute, ATHLETICO PRaiano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Valery to maneuver through the defense. The Pura Arte F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ATHLETICO PRaiano were winning 0-3.

In the 55th minute, Zé Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Unax Mudarra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. A collision led to Pura Arte F.C getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Kaká Botelho hit a great ball. Rodrigo Vidal was a little too slow when Deilmison van Basten got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-5. Rodrigo Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Unax Mudarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 0-6 when Deilmison van Basten sped through Pura Arte F.C's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rodrigo Vidal. 73 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Vidal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrigo Vidal came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten. But to his dismay, Deilmison van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The supporters of Pura Arte F.C booed when ATHLETICO PRaiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heitor Maldini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pura Arte F.C's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Deilmison van Basten 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. Deilmison van Basten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodrigo Vidal having to make a save. When the match was over ATHLETICO PRaiano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pura Arte F.C throughout the match.
