Qin Fan Sheng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Selami Bilgen in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ got a corner. ZORZAL01's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Donato Luar ran over to the corner to take the kick. Qin Fan Sheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor Mainer in the 23rd minute of play. Jacobo Mendiko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Crouch in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Crouch in the 36th minute of play forced ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Jacobo Mendiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Qin Fan Sheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The referee ignored ZORZAL01's protests and gave Cornelio Bastia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ᴀᴄʜᴛᴜɴɢ ʙᴀʙɪᴇs ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ booed when ZORZAL01 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Bastia didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ZORZAL01 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
