After 25 minutes, Enrique Hrabina made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Granville's Jyrki Airisto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Francisco Ederono kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 3-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Francisco Ederono elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Fabricio Eleder might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teet Rosin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabricio Eleder ran back to his position shaking his head. With splendid footwork Francisco Ederono arrived in front of goal to shoot 4-0 by the left pole in the game's 41st minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidro Domeka to make the kick off. Francisco Ederono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Granville's goalkeeper Jyrki Airisto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Armando Indalecio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of NeW York CitY CopS booed when Granville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Reynardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Granville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jyrki Airisto should have stopped the shot. After 92 played minutes Granville got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Reynardo. Enrique Hrabina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jyrki Airisto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. NeW York CitY CopS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
