Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Isidro Domeka made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute, Leonardo Reynardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leonardo Reynardo kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Joeri Das fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jyrki Airisto having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Granville's Isidro Domeka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of René Batum. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Martien Crans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pannekoeken's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martien Crans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Luciano Magdaleno had to leave the field with a concussion. 24 minutes into the game, Huub Barends was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pannekoeken's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Granville the free kick. After 25 played minutes Pannekoeken got a freekick which was hit by Huub Barends. Ivo Brito hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Pannekoeken's Martien Crans got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Pannekoeken booed when Granville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Indalecio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Pannekoeken's Floris Abbenbroek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jyrki Airisto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Fabricio Eleder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. René Batum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Joeri Das made the kick off in the second half. If Joeri Das had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 55 played minutes Pannekoeken got a freekick which was hit by Roger Heide. After a rather tough play, Pannekoeken's Joeri Das got a free kick in the 57th minute. Fabricio Eleder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Pannekoeken getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Martijn Winters hit a great ball. Granville's Jyrki Airisto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joeri Das in the 65th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Granville's Armando Indalecio got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 70th minute, Martijn Winters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Pannekoeken's Jyrki Airisto threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stephan Overmars, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jyrki Airisto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joeri Das, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Granville's goalkeeper Jyrki Airisto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A hard shot by Leon Schoonmaker from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Jyrki Airisto's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Jyrki Airisto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joeri Das in the 84th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Joeri Das had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jyrki Airisto. Granville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joeri Das was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Aarno Reijonen charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aarno Reijonen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Granville! After 96 played minutes, Pannekoeken's Leon Schoonmaker shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jyrki Airisto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pannekoeken reached it. In the 98th minute, Ivo Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jyrki Airisto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joeri Das, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pannekoeken walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
