When Jonas Goyo fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F. C. Clonmels Devils's protests and gave Jonas Goyo a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas Goyo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, F. C. Clonmels Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Chiratorn Wongsanam came free, but Andrea Sabatini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Neil Micallef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to F. C. Clonmels Devils getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jonas Goyo hit a great ball. After 16 minutes of play, Swatar United FC's Owen Grech Cumbo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrea Sabatini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mario Salerno charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mario Salerno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Janusz Wielowiejski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Patryk Siekierski made a huge save. Andre Fava kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Damian Dubiel fired a really elegant long shot, but Patryk Siekierski threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Andrea Sabatini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Micallef in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute Mario Salerno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Sabatini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrea Sabatini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Salerno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neil Micallef sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Janusz Wielowiejski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Patryk Siekierski having to make a save. The supporters of Swatar United FC booed when F. C. Clonmels Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Dubiel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes F. C. Clonmels Devils got a freekick which was hit by Dawid Tokarczyk.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janusz Wielowiejski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patryk Siekierski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartlomiej Olejarz, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Janusz Wielowiejski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Swatar United FC's Patryk Siekierski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute, Mario Salerno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Guo Lin kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Janusz Wielowiejski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F. C. Clonmels Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Janusz Wielowiejski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andrea Sabatini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Salerno in the 74th minute of play. Andrea Sabatini made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Owen Grech Cumbo sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Janusz Wielowiejski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patryk Siekierski was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Neil Micallef recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The F. C. Clonmels Devils supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Swatar United FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Swatar United FC.
