In the 12th minute of the match, Francisco Ederono tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zhu Xi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 14thth minute of the game Xie Yue Chao who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NeW York CitY CopS's Teet Rosin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teet Rosin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Yue Chao in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, NeW York CitY CopS's goal looked a bit too open when Zhuang Liang Zhen came free, but Teet Rosin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teet Rosin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilesindo Tarapiella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Francisco Ederono shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhu Xi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, NeW York CitY CopS's Enrique Hrabina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zhu Xi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Xie Yue Chao's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teet Rosin was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. When Los Galacticos's Xie Yue Chao in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xie Yue Chao got free with Teet Rosin in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Quin hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, NeW York CitY CopS's goalkeeper Teet Rosin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ruben Le. After a rather tough play, Los Galacticos's Pablo Aimar got a free kick in the 60th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xie Yue Chao got free with Teet Rosin in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Los Galacticos's Kong Jing Kun got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Los Galacticos's Witomir Lampa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Teet Rosin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kong Jing Kun in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teet Rosin saved NeW York CitY CopS from getting behind. Zhu Xi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Ederono, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Pablo Aimar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Teet Rosin made a huge save. 89 minutes into the match, Kong Jing Kun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teet Rosin. NeW York CitY CopS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kong Jing Kun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
