After 6 minutes of play, Los Galacticos's Zhuang Liang Zhen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jyrki Airisto was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Kong Jing Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Granville defense, Pablo Aimar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jyrki Airisto. The Granville fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jyrki Airisto should have stopped the shot. Granville's Jyrki Airisto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kong Jing Kun in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Granville's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xie Yue Chao was slow to take the kick. During this time Los Galacticos's players had a chance to rest. If Xie Yue Chao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zhuang Liang Zhen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Gilesindo Tarapiella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jyrki Airisto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Los Galacticos's Kong Jing Kun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jyrki Airisto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jyrki Airisto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Xie Yue Chao went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute Kong Jing Kun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jyrki Airisto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kong Jing Kun might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jyrki Airisto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kong Jing Kun ran back to his position shaking his head. 27 minutes into the match, Granville's goal looked a bit too open when Kong Jing Kun came free, but Jyrki Airisto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kong Jing Kun might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jyrki Airisto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kong Jing Kun ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Kong Jing Kun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jyrki Airisto was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. If Kong Jing Kun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Aimar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jyrki Airisto having to make a save. 41 minutes into the match, Xie Yue Chao notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Granville's Jyrki Airisto. Jyrki Airisto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 45thth minute of the game Kong Jing Kun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granville's Jyrki Airisto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kong Jing Kun in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jyrki Airisto saved Granville from getting behind.

The wind increased when Isidro Domeka made the kick off in the second half. Jyrki Airisto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kong Jing Kun in the 52nd minute of play. When Los Galacticos's Kong Jing Kun in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Granville's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th minute, Los Galacticos's Pablo Aimar dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 60th minute Los Galacticos were awarded a corner. Xie Yue Chao went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Pablo Aimar to score against Jyrki Airisto in Granville's goal. 0-6 after 60 minutes. Xie Yue Chao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jyrki Airisto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kong Jing Kun in the 64th minute of play forced Granville's goalkeeper Jyrki Airisto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zhuang Liang Zhen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Jyrki Airisto made a huge save. Shady Mourad kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Xie Yue Chao might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jyrki Airisto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xie Yue Chao ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute, Los Galacticos's Kong Jing Kun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. In the 79th minute, Pablo Aimar made a precise shot to the right of Jyrki Airisto. Granville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-10. In the 82nd minute, Kong Jing Kun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Los Galacticos's Meng Zhan Yang was substituted for Lu Hong. Los Galacticos made a substitution. Ruben Le replaced Xie Yue Chao. Ivo Brito hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Jyrki Airisto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilesindo Tarapiella went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the match, Kong Jing Kun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jyrki Airisto. Granville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kong Jing Kun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-12. Zhuang Liang Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 93rd minute, Los Galacticos's Gilesindo Tarapiella dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-13.
