Biagio Furino came out of the goal and Idalécio Baldaia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Idalécio Baldaia in the 8th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Biagio Furino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Idalécio Baldaia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Biagio Furino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Dragões Barbudos FC got a corner. Paraná Clube Brasil's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomas Semeloglou ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Fernando Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Chaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovani Batista, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Biagio Furino made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Babür Kongurtay sent off a good shot on target. Paraná Clube Brasil's Biagio Furino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idalécio Baldaia in the 28th minute of play. Daniel Chaves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giovani Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Biagio Furino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idalécio Baldaia in the 35th minute of play. Babür Kongurtay who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Biagio Furino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Effiong Adebiyi hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Paraná Clube Brasil's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Babür Kongurtay fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Babür Kongurtay struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Biagio Furino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragões Barbudos FC. After 55 played minutes Dragões Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Semeloglou. 58 minutes into the match, Paraná Clube Brasil's goal looked a bit too open when Babür Kongurtay came free, but Biagio Furino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dragões Barbudos FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Paraná Clube Brasil's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thomas Semeloglou took the corner. Zé Pedro Prestes tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Biagio Furino. The audience was convinced that Idalécio Baldaia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Biagio Furino was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dragões Barbudos FC fully deserved thier win.
