In the 4th minute, Vinícius Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cristiano de Moraes came free, but Leonardo Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinícius Soares in the 9th minute of play forced Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Valdemar Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcus Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Trancoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Soares in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Barral in the 24th minute of play forced Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Leonardo Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Red Dragon FC - DMZ fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Red Dragon FC - DMZ's José Maria Teixeira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a rather tough play, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Cristiano de Moraes got a free kick in the 28th minute. Valdemar Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Valdemar Quadros got control of the ball when Yan Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Germano Pimenta's late challenge caught a Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Germano Pimenta helped the player get up and apologised. Germano Pimenta hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Betinho Dantas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Valdemar Quadros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilvan Schmidt in the 46th minute. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Valdemar Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Ceresso in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Maria Teixeira was the one to do the kick off. José Maria Teixeira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Valdemar Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Maria Teixeira in the 55th minute of play. Valdemar Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Ceresso in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emílio Ceresso in the 61st minute of play forced Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Valdemar Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wágner Fox received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Valdemar Quadros came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Dragon FC - DMZ's José Maria Teixeira. But to his dismay, José Maria Teixeira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Emílio Ceresso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdemar Quadros having to interfere. Vinícius Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80thth minute of the game Emílio Ceresso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Valdemar Quadros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Valdemar Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emílio Ceresso, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano de Moraes in the 83rd minute of play forced Red Dragon FC - DMZ's goalkeeper Leonardo Trancoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonardo Trancoso made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Caio Barral sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caio Barral got free with Leonardo Trancoso in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 88thth minute of the game Josué Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Valdemar Quadros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 89th minute, Humberto Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st minute, Betinho Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- defense, Vinícius Soares kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Quadros. The Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Quadros should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Red Dragon FC - DMZ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
