The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Alex Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeff Waters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th minute, FC Barrera 2.0's Alex Lara dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Barrera 2.0's Alex Lara slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlos Fernando da Cunha. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. Carlos Fernando da Cunha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeff Waters in the 25th minute. Orlando Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Valério Xavier took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Carlos Fernando da Cunha to make any attempt to save it. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Carlos Fernando da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valério Xavier in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Alex Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Fernando da Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valério Xavier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. A collision led to TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Orlando Paraíba hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Alex Lara made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Fernando da Cunha. TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Carlos Fernando da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valério Xavier in the 69th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Gabriel Velasco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Fernando da Cunha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sérgio Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Valério Xavier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Fernando da Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. In the 79th minute Cleiton Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- defense, Alex Lara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlos Fernando da Cunha. The TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Fernando da Cunha should have stopped the shot. Carlos Fernando da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Velasco struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Carlos Fernando da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barrera 2.0. Gonçalo Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
