Geovanni Zonta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dalmo Barreto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 8th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. When Claudinho Chaves fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's protests and gave Claudinho Chaves a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 13th minute of the game. One of Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LauerArmy:s goal. Dalmo Barreto was a little too slow when Paulo Jardel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 3-0. After a rather tough play, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Duarte Furlan got a free kick in the 24th minute. Paulo Jardel might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmo Barreto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Jardel ran back to his position shaking his head. Dalmo Barreto made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Christiano Fontes sent off a good shot on target. In the 30th minute, LauerArmy's Guga Freire dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. Guga Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Barreto having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Luís Fabiano Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Jardel struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Dalmo Barreto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LauerArmy. In the 37th minute, Guga Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, LauerArmy's Geovanni Zonta got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Guga Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmo Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder dos Santos in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dênis Quadros to make the kick off. Dalmo Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Freire came free, but Dalmo Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ defense, Waldemar Brodel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmo Barreto. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmo Barreto should have stopped the shot. Raí Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ:s Dalmo Barreto showed great skill when he stopped Geovanni Zonta:s penalty. In the 70th minute, Geovanni Zonta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LauerArmy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 74th minute, Guga Freire ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dalmo Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Freire in the 80th minute of play forced Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's goalkeeper Dalmo Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemente Teles during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Clemente Teles hit a great ball. Dalmo Barreto came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by LauerArmy's Paulo Jardel. But to his dismay, Paulo Jardel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LauerArmy fully deserved thier win.
