Marcelo Souza started the match with the kick off. Augusto Alcântara's late challenge caught a LauerArmy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Facopo FBPA's Flávio Carioca got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanni Zonta in the 7th minute of play forced Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Cido Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandão Aparecido struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Falcão Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Facopo FBPA. Cido Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Jardel in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cido Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ismael Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Cavalcante having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goalkeeper Cido Cavalcante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiano Fontes. In the 42nd minute Facopo FBPA were awarded a corner. Marcelo Souza went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Marcelo Souza almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but LauerArmy's Falcão Cabral did a great save. 44 minutes into the game, LauerArmy's Paulo Jardel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cido Cavalcante made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder dos Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Paulo Jardel hit a great ball. Cido Cavalcante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder dos Santos in the 59th minute of the match. Fernandão Aparecido hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 61st minute of the match Geovanni Zonta shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cido Cavalcante showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cido Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Freire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ismael Mattos scored 4-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cido Cavalcante, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 81 played minutes Facopo FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr Simões. 83 minutes into the match, Facopo FBPA's goal looked a bit too open when Christiano Fontes came free, but Cido Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Facopo FBPA getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Marcelo Souza hit a great ball. When the referee ended the match the LauerArmy players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
