Lauro Linhares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vágner Pitta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 59 minute of play. Rodolfo Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís de Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliézer Ramos in the 73rd minute of play forced A A Arizona's goalkeeper Rodolfo Siqueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute of the match Natanael Pinheiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Siqueira skillfully saved the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, CE LAJEADENSE RS could leave the field as winners, despite A A Arizona having more of the ball for most of the match.
