Galera's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Quadros came free, but Tarcisio Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarcisio Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Tarcisio Botelho came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Clemente Teles. But to his dismay, Clemente Teles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as E.C. Galera's Deivid de Sousa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Wilian Quadros. That made the score 1-1 after 27 minutes of play. Deivid de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulysses Gerber charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulysses Gerber the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of E.C. Galera booed when Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulysses Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlinhos de Carvalho scored 2-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilian Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 42 played minutes E.C. Galera got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Ribeiro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dênis Quadros in the 47th minute of play forced E.C. Galera's goalkeeper Tarcisio Botelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Tarcisio Botelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Teles in the 54th minute of play. Dorian Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Dênis Quadros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tarcisio Botelho. That made the score 2-2 in the 59 minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinícius Senna to maneuver through the defense. Deivid de Sousa scored 3-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilian Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. André Maranhense kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If João Augusto Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilian Quadros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid de Sousa in the 73rd minute of the match. Silvério Munhoz's late challenge caught a Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Silvério Munhoz helped the player get up and apologised. Silvério Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Cássio Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Wilian Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fellipe Favoretto in the 94th minute of play. E.C. Galera's Tarcisio Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavinho do Valle in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. E.C. Galera had played much better football throughout.
