CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Teófilo Pádua got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, SC Braga's Leandro Queirós got a free kick in the 17th minute. Adelino Coelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teófilo Pádua, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. SC Braga's Adelino Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teófilo Pádua in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Caetano Coutinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Braga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land the free kick. A collision led to SC Braga getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. In the 39th minute Evandro Figueiras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
