Alexandre Veríssimo scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabrício Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guto Cabral in the 25th minute of play. Nestor Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teófilo Pádua in the 27th minute of the match. Teófilo Pádua had several of the GRÊMIO's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 32 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Nestor Sampaio as he didn't even see the shot coming. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Campos in the 43rd minute of play forced GRÊMIO's goalkeeper Nestor Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teófilo Pádua to make the kick off. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Fabrício Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Cunha in the 55th minute of play. Nestor Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateus Campos went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Artur Cunha kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Alcides Soares hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Guto Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Fabrício Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
