That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Berkant Uraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birant Özgunay in the 25th minute of play. Ali Emir Ongu struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Cüneyd Oğurata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sögüt. In the 28th minute, Adil Akbuğ made a precise shot to the right of Cüneyd Oğurata. Polatli's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Sögüt were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Polatli's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adil Akbuğ took the corner. The corner led Sögüt's Gürol İrfan to fire away a dangerous shot which Cüneyd Oğurata despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Berkant Uraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birant Özgunay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Derviş Tansan fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sögüt's protests and gave Derviş Tansan a yellow card for diving instead. Refik Nazif's late challenge caught a Sögüt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Refik Nazif helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Polatli getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Refik Nazif hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the match, Mecnun Şükran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berkant Uraz. Sögüt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mecnun Şükran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 4-1 became the score in the 58th minute when Birant Özgunay elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birant Özgunay in the 64th minute of play forced Sögüt's goalkeeper Berkant Uraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Atilla Kağan Vahap during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Polatli fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! Adil Akbuğ placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Ali Emir Ongu fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sögüt's protests and gave Ali Emir Ongu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Ali Emir Ongu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dursun Ali Şerafeddin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Berkant Uraz. Sögüt's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sögüt's Adil Akbuğ got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mecnun Şükran in the 78th minute of play forced Sögüt's goalkeeper Berkant Uraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sögüt's Berkant Uraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birant Özgunay in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Refik Nazif in the 82nd minute of play forced Sögüt's goalkeeper Berkant Uraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ali Emir Ongu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Cüneyd Oğurata when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sögüt's Taci Ulus got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 96 minutes, Adil Akbuğ managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sögüt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adil Akbuğ was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sögüt's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
