The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cahit Şimşek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Emir Ongu in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Development FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ensar Hacıbeyoğlu hit a great ball. Adil Akbuğ recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute Şahap Bağcıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkant Uraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gürol İrfan kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to Development FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Hakkı Onur Akmaner hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the game, Adil Akbuğ cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cahit Şimşek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mustafa Arif Akyazıcıoğlu made in the 18th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Necmi Regaip immediately put the ball in play. Gürol İrfan kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 0-2 became the score in the 24th minute when Taci Ulus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Development FC's Necmi Regaip dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. In the 37th match minute, Sögüt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taci Ulus to maneuver through the defense. Şahap Bağcıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Berkant Uraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Bedri Hanbeyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berkant Uraz having to interfere. The supporters of Sögüt booed when Development FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Bedri Hanbeyi didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ali Emir Ongu to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ateş Haneci during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd match minute, Sögüt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ateş Haneci to maneuver through the defense. Cahit Şimşek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adil Akbuğ, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Çağrı Başer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Berkant Uraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Development FC's Ahmet Bedri Hanbeyi got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Berkant Uraz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Necmi Regaip went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 91 played minutes Sögüt got a freekick which was hit by Taci Ulus. Saip Demir kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
