The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Radowit Szkarpiak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Radowit Szkarpiak hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Pawel Nalaskowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregory Pegrum having to interfere. Gregory Pegrum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pawel Nalaskowski in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by Planetstaden IK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Slawomir Filipkowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Cidry Rojca's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Cidry Rojca's corner Radowit Szkarpiak fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gregory Pegrum quite easily take care of the ball. Slawomir Filipkowski made in the 23rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Bogumil Gregorczyk however managed to control. In the 23rd match minute, Cidry Rojca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Gregorczyk to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Bogumil Gregorczyk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the game, Cidry Rojca's Roman Perkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregory Pegrum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bogumil Gregorczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cidry Rojca's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogumil Gregorczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregory Pegrum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Slawomir Filipkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Kinnman in the 46th minute of play forced Cidry Rojca's goalkeeper Filip Tamulewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Columbo Noya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Cidry Rojca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Dylla to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Karl Wiman could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Filip Tamulewicz however easily saved by the left post. Cidry Rojca's Filip Tamulewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Columbo Noya in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Karl Wiman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Planetstaden IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Wiman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Slawomir Filipkowski in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Planetstaden IK's Jörn Åman. Gregory Pegrum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pawel Nalaskowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Filip Tamulewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Columbo Noya in the 69th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Verner Gallberg during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 71 played minutes Planetstaden IK got a freekick which was hit by Verner Gallberg. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Planetstaden IK's Columbo Noya got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Filip Tamulewicz. Karl Wiman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Filip Tamulewicz firmly grabbed it by the left post. 79 minutes into the match, Pawel Nalaskowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gregory Pegrum. Planetstaden IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pawel Nalaskowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 85 minutes in the game Slawomir Filipkowski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bogumil Gregorczyk. Planetstaden IK's Gregory Pegrum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Perkowski in the 86th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Slawomir Filipkowski in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Planetstaden IK's Jörn Åman. Filip Tamulewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl Wiman in the 91st minute. Cidry Rojca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Columbo Noya scored to the left of an out of position Filip Tamulewicz, making the score, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
