Ulf Vennerström started the match with the kick off. Magnus Arenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Sven-Åke Hjelm in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Planetstaden IK's Jörn Åman. After 6 played minutes Planetstaden IK got a freekick which was hit by Tony Nordström. Lirarnas Lag's Hjalmar Kråk got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rune Grep took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Wiman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 12 played minutes Lirarnas Lag got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Åke Hjelm. Gregory Pegrum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Lirarnas Lag's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hjalmar Kråk in the 16th minute. After taking down the ball on Lirarnas Lag's corner Magnus Arenberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gregory Pegrum quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Planetstaden IK's Karl Wiman got a free kick in the 16th minute. Hjalmar Kråk, 17 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Gregory Pegrum didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lirarnas Lag. A collision led to Lirarnas Lag getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Sven-Åke Hjelm hit a great ball. Lirarnas Lag's Rune Grep played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brian Kinnman in the 29th minute of play. Gregory Pegrum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hjalmar Kråk in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Mirza Başeskioğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Planetstaden IK getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Bo-Erik Ekrot hit a great ball. Planetstaden IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lirarnas Lag the free kick. Gregory Pegrum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Hjalmar Kråk made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jörn Åman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Lirarnas Lag booed when Planetstaden IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brian Kinnman during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gregory Pegrum made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Gregory Pegrum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Alessio Cinalli hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Karl Wiman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Planetstaden IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Wiman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Grep breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lirarnas Lag's Jean-Pascal Bellefeuille got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Lirarnas Lag's goal looked a bit too open when Brian Kinnman came free, but Rune Grep reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Planetstaden IK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Lirarnas Lag's performance. The match ended with a win for Lirarnas Lag.
