In the 4th match minute, Pannekoeken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Heide to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Floris Abbenbroek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hemming Tjørnum saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Harold Breugel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hemming Tjørnum skillfully saved the ball. Jonas Modestio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without René Batum having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Joeri Das got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Pannekoeken booed when C.A. Caminiaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, C.A. Caminiaga got a penalty, and Rene Venceslao placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodolfo Txeru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hemming Tjørnum made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Martien Crans sent off a good shot on target. Hemming Tjørnum was a little too slow when Floris Abbenbroek got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-2. 61 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Txeru had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of René Batum. Pannekoeken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodolfo Txeru was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 65 minutes of play, C.A. Caminiaga's Rodolfo Txeru made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. René Batum was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 68 minutes, Joeri Das mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pannekoeken and the C.A. Caminiaga players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C.A. Caminiaga getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Miguel Erramu hit a great ball. Hemming Tjørnum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joeri Das, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, one of Pannekoeken:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pannekoeken. The referee gave C.A. Caminiaga a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rene Venceslao, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Pannekoeken's René Batum. 4-2. In the 82nd match minute, Pannekoeken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dirk-Jan Vennegoor to maneuver through the defense. If Jonas Modestio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. René Batum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Rey in the 96th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Txeru in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg René Batum saved Pannekoeken from getting behind.
