After a defensive mix-up in Pannekoeken's zone, Jonas Modestio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ton Rijkaard came out of the goal and Jonas Modestio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 15 minutes of play, C.A. Caminiaga's Miguel Erramu made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ton Rijkaard was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 20th minute, Rodolfo Txeru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A. Caminiaga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 25thth minute of the game Rodolfo Txeru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pannekoeken's Ton Rijkaard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elco van Asseldonk charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elco van Asseldonk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Pannekoeken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elco van Asseldonk to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, C.A. Caminiaga's Rodolfo Txeru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ton Rijkaard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Ton Rijkaard came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A. Caminiaga's Rodolfo Txeru. But to his dismay, Rodolfo Txeru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After a rather tough play, C.A. Caminiaga's Ildefonso Bieito got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 38 minutes, Joeri Das mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pannekoeken and the C.A. Caminiaga players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pannekoeken getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Joeri Das hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Gabriel Rey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ton Rijkaard. Pannekoeken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Rey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Martien Crans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ton Rijkaard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Txeru in the 47th minute of play. After the first half C.A. Caminiaga were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute, Rodolfo Txeru fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ton Rijkaard, passed just outside the right post. Ton Rijkaard made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Gabriel Rey sent off a good shot on target. Ton Rijkaard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Txeru in the 53rd minute. Hemming Tjørnum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joeri Das, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, C.A. Caminiaga's Rodolfo Txeru ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ton Rijkaard. Ton Rijkaard yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. After 65 played minutes Pannekoeken got a freekick which was hit by Elco van Asseldonk. Ton Rijkaard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Txeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Gabriel Rey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ton Rijkaard was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martien Crans in the 76th minute of play forced C.A. Caminiaga's goalkeeper Hemming Tjørnum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olof Trenning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hemming Tjørnum having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Martien Crans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodolfo Txeru in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ton Rijkaard saved Pannekoeken from getting behind. C.A. Caminiaga's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rene Venceslao in the 97th minute. After a rather tough play, C.A. Caminiaga's Ildefonso Bieito got a free kick in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. C.A. Caminiaga walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
