The 1948 MKS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ter Stegen should have stopped the shot. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boy Bonk in the 11th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Bone Breakers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stefan Misiorowski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrzej Nuszkowski in the 16th minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Misiorowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Brudnicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goal looked a bit too open when Andrzej Nuszkowski came free, but Ter Stegen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Brudnicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boy Bonk in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ter Stegen saved 1948 MKS from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Andrzej Nuszkowski put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ter Stegen. Ter Stegen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boy Bonk's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 38thth minute of the game Boy Bonk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd minute Boy Bonk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roland Brudnicki in the 43rd minute of the match. Boy Bonk took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ter Stegen. Ter Stegen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After the first half Bone Breakers were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Boy Bonk stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save 1948 MKS from getting a goal against them. Ter Stegen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boy Bonk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Liu Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boy Bonk in the 62nd minute of play forced 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ter Stegen made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Anthony Mazzocchi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of 1948 MKS booed when Bone Breakers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrzej Nuszkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bone Breakers's Yan Xiang Guang was substituted for Mateusz Porajewski. Andrzej Nuszkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Bone Breakers played a much better game than 1948 MKS and deserved their victory. The 1948 MKS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
