The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match, Boy Bonk tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hansjörg Wastl saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hansjörg Wastl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Prata in the 7th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Roland Brudnicki got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hansjörg Wastl was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Andrzej Nuszkowski kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Henrique Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Bone Breakers defense, Henrique Borges kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emil Chlapowski. The Bone Breakers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emil Chlapowski should have stopped the shot. Emil Chlapowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrique Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. It was a well-played corner which Baldomero Hermon managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. If Paolo Argi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Henrique Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Juliusz Wojtowicz made in the 42nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Enrique Prata however managed to control. Henrique Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emil Chlapowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Boy Bonk to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Hayri Pitirimov dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ's Edu Carvalho was substituted for Henrique Borges. Hansjörg Wastl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Prata in the 70th minute of play. In the 72nd minute of the game Eigirdas Abramavičius made a throw-in which Andrzej Nuszkowski played forward. Edu Carvalho took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Chlapowski. Emil Chlapowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Bone Breakers made a substitution. Yan Xiang Guang replaced Mateusz Porajewski. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Prata during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Enrique Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Edu Carvalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emil Chlapowski. Bone Breakers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edu Carvalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. The Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Treze Futebol Clube CIMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
