Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Barry McCray took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute of the match 1948 MKS got a corner. Modlau's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ersin Uyguralp ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ersin Uyguralp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lew Yashin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, 1948 MKS's Mack Willson got a free kick in the 8th minute. 11 minutes into the match, 1948 MKS's goalkeeper Ter Stegen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarmo Laik. Lew Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baoithin Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Dominic Salazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, Baoithin Doherty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ter Stegen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damazy Jucha's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Gilbert Jameson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lew Yashin having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Modlau's goal looked a bit too open when Baoithin Doherty came free, but Lew Yashin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lew Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donleavy Barrett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donleavy Barrett charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donleavy Barrett the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th match minute, 1948 MKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donleavy Barrett to maneuver through the defense. Lew Yashin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baoithin Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Lew Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baoithin Doherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Modlau booed when 1948 MKS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baoithin Doherty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Barry McCray in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ter Stegen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 45 minutes into the game, 1948 MKS's Donleavy Barrett nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lew Yashin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1.
Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Lew Yashin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rudy Lukas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 56 minutes into the match. After a long run with the ball, Barry McCray did a trick in the 59th minute in front of 1948 MKS's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-1. An impressive performance by Modlau's Barry McCray! Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominic Salazar in the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Barry McCray in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ter Stegen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 1948 MKS's Ter Stegen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarmo Laik in the 65th minute of play. Mack Willson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Lew Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Tiomoid Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lew Yashin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Modlau's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ersin Uyguralp was slow to take the kick. During this time 1948 MKS's players had a chance to rest. The corner led 1948 MKS's Ersin Uyguralp to fire away a dangerous shot which Lew Yashin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 88th minute Jarmo Laik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donleavy Barrett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Lew Yashin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mack Willson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Donleavy Barrett managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1948 MKS's supporters rose to their feet, but Donleavy Barrett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lew Yashin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
