Rigan Frankson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sergiu Cioacă firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 16th minute, Zachariasz Mios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Rigan Frankson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sergiu Cioacă, 1-0. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind KS HANZA Goleniów's goalkeeper Sergiu Cioacă, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sergiu Cioacă made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Rigan Frankson sent off a good shot on target. Ter Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Șerban Chihaia in the 26th minute of the match. Rigan Frankson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergiu Cioacă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Akın Sahir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergiu Cioacă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolan McLian, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute Șerban Chihaia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Akın Sahir to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, KS HANZA Goleniów's Akın Sahir dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 59th minute, KS HANZA Goleniów's Șerban Chihaia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ter Stegen. Ter Stegen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Ter Stegen made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Akın Sahir sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute, Rigan Frankson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1948 MKS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. KS HANZA Goleniów's Miromir Podowski was substituted for Șerban Chihaia. Ter Stegen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Lundqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes 1948 MKS got a freekick which was hit by Arnold McDecland. KS HANZA Goleniów made a substitution. Zbyszek Przybyciel replaced Morgan Lundqvist. In the 73rd match minute, 1948 MKS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold McDecland to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Zbyszek Przybyciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ter Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miromir Podowski in the 89th minute of play. Akın Sahir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Ter Stegen made a huge save. A collision led to 1948 MKS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ersin Uyguralp hit a great ball. 1948 MKS's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
